| Jacobsen's Kennels obtained their first Cocker
Spaniels in 1986, buying two for their sons Dirk and Reman, to teach them
some responsibility. It became apparent many years later that the family
was in love with the Cocker Breed. In late 1995 several other Cocker's
were to join the family and thus Jacobsen's Kennels was established. With
the help of her husband Mike and their two sons Dirk and Reman, Shirley
Jacobsen set out to produce a puppy of quality. We make sure we get all
of our dogs checked yearly for eye (CERF). Our goal, with a lot of hard
work, determination, going to shows, reading and a lot of suggestions by
fellow breeders, learning from our mistakes ( and we have made alot!) is
to raise a happy healthy companion for any family to enjoy. |
